Tricotomo (2009)

“Tricotomo” (Tricotomic) is the author’s first book, which contains poems that had been published in 2008 and 2009 as well as the poet’s first poems, and also the newest ones that had never been published before. Most of the poems are in Portuguese and only a few are in English.

Number three reveals perfection and plenitude; besides it, nothing is complete. Inocêncio Santos, Ideário Carvalho and Élder Machado join their thoughts about the world in one only book in order to prove that their ideas are part of something bigger. Hopefully, this something “bigger” would achieve its goal of perfection or would, in the end, show itself as something that is not perfect (which does not say the search for perfection is not present). Inocêncio Santos, Ideário Carvalho and Élder Machado vary from walking two insecure steps, or walking one single, but secure, step. One may think the first option is the best way to perfection, the other may think the second option is the best way to perfection… one may think perfection for human beings is actually not being perfect at all…

This edition has been completely sold out!

***These names were not taken from real people or based on them. If you thought so, the author feels sorry for not being able to ensure you he would think bigger than to do this. ALL SIMILARITIES ARE PURE COINCIDENCE“***
