If I could choose something to be,PArchuting

something to be born as,

I’d choose to be a bird;

to rely on my arms

rather than my legs

Oh, the air!

There are no mountains,

no valleys,

no humans in the air

Oh, humans!

There is no broken heart,

no destruction,

where they not be…

only the sorrow of a single human being

in the air

As I think of this,

the earth is approaching…

and I choose not to open my parachute
